Kobe.

I yearn feline companionship. Seriously. That’s why I’ve decided to make this “Throwback Thursday” post about Kobe, my cat.

I used to have cats eight years ago. That’s before I moved to Singapore, and had to leave my ultimate-favourite cat at home. Whispered BFF promises to my cat as I was preparing to leave for the airport: I’ll be back for you. Wait for me, Kobe. I love you so much, my baby! Mommycat will be back after two years.

These words, plus tears (lots of ’em), were our bittersweet parting. I didn’t know it was the last time I’d see my Kobe baby.

Summer Getaway: Baguio City

I was away for the past few days and took a quick trip back home. It’s a much-needed break from all the pressures at work and personal life. I’m simply glad I did it.

Anyway, arrived in Singapore shortly before 9am yesterday. That means I was at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA), the Manila airport, at around 2.30am. I had a long day. A tiring one. Continue reading

An ultimate “throwback” for Throwback Thursday!

Eight years and a couple of months ago, I left the comforts of home to advance my career in Singapore. By home I mean Manila, where I have lived my entire life. It wasn’t easy, it was a bitter-sweet adventure that taught me how to be tough, independent, persevering and more appreciative of the people who love me.
